Frequently asked questions.

What type of massages do you offer?
I offer a wide range of techniques including Deep Tissue, Swedish, Trigger Point Therapy, Reflexology, Prenatal Massage, Hot Stone, Gua Sha, Stretching and custom blends based on your individual needs. No cookie-cutter sessions here- every massage is tailored to you.
Do you work on children?
Yes, I do offer massage for children ages 10 and older. A parent or legal guardian must be present during the session and is required to sign a consent form beforehand. My goal is to create a safe, comfortable, and supportive environment for young clients while addressing their specific needs.
Do you take insurance?
While I do not bill insurance companies directly, I’m happy to provide you with a detailed receipt and session notes that you canr submit to your insurance provider for possible reimbursement.
If you have a Health Savings Account (HSA) or a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) card, you may be able to use it for your massage sessions. In many cases, the card will go through without issue. However, some providers require you to call ahead and authorize massage therapy as an eligible expense before use.
Please note that I cannot guarantee your card or claim will be accepted. If a transaction is declined, it is the client’s responsibility to cover the full cost of the session at the time of service.
How do I prepare for my massage?
Stay hydrated: Drink plenty of water before and after your session to help your muscles respond better and aid in flushing out toxins.
Arrive a few minutes early: This gives you time to relax, use the restroom if needed, and complete any intake forms without feeling rushed.
Avoid heavy meals right before: A light snack is fine, but a full stomach can make you uncomfortable during your massage.
Dress comfortably: You’ll undress to your comfort level in a private room, and you’ll be properly draped at all times.
Communicate any needs or concerns: Let me know about any areas you want to focus on, avoid, or if you have any injuries, sensitivities, or preferences for pressure.
My goal is to make sure you feel relaxed, safe, and supported throughout your session.

How often should I receive massages?
The ideal frequency for massage depends on your personal goals, lifestyle, and body needs:
For general stress relief and relaxation: Once a month is a great place to start.
For chronic pain, tension, or injury recovery: Weekly or bi-weekly sessions can provide better, more consistent results.
For athletes or physically active individuals: Regular massages—weekly or every other week—can help with performance, recovery, and injury prevention.
For maintenance and overall wellness: Many clients find that coming in every 3–4 weeks helps them stay ahead of tension and feel their best.
Every body is different. We can discuss what works best for your schedule, goals, and budget to create a plan that supports your health long-term.
